poem reveals the greatness of farmers’ hard work and the importance of Villages
in the development of the country.
Prose: NATURAL AGRICULTURE
In this prose, a conversation takes
place between a professor and students about natural manure like Panjakaviyam
and artificial fertilizers such as Urea, Phosphate and Potassium used in the
farms.
It explains harmful effects and
hereditary diseases occur in human beings by using Chemical fertilizers and
also stresses us Prevention is Better than Cure.
The correct methods of Ploughing the field
and awareness about Agriculture is emphasized.
CD PREPARATION AND APPRAISAL
PROCESS
The Text Book contents were converted
into Videos and it was displayed to the children in DIET, Ranipet. The students of Thiru. V. Ka. School, Ranipet
visited DIET Ranipet and Video lessons were displayed to them. Totally 42 children viewed this video lessons
along with the teachers. Mrs.N.Valarmathi, Senior Lecturer of DIET Ranipet
acted as Tool Administrator as per the instructions given by A.Basheer Ahmed,
Principal, DIET, Ranipet.
At last feedbacks were given by the
students and they enjoyed seeing videos in the content. Each and every meaning of the hard words have
been understood by the children without the help of the teacher.
FEEDBACK
All the students who watched the above
Video lesson in VII Tamil enjoyed very well and keenly observed.
The main theme of the lesson is
understood to an extent.
In the end, objective type questions
were given to the students. Feedback of
the subject teachers aboutlesson were also taken into consideration.

o 100% of the students understood that the supreme
power among all living things is Sun.
o 100% of the students came to be familiar with the
poem author name N.Pichai Moorthi
o 95% of students understood the meaning of
‘Kanagam’ as gold.
o 95% of the students registered the meaning of ‘Venthar’
as ‘Mannar’ correctly.
o 100% students understood the meaning of Aazhi as
Mothiram
o 85% of the students understood that the
Agricultural university is located at Coimbatore.
o 80% students have answered aptly that the five
things obtained from Cow is called as Panja kaviyam
o 90% of the children understood that the leaves,decayed
Cow Skin etc are called as Thozhu Urangal
o 90% of the Children understood that ‘Vanam Partha Boomi’
is ‘Punsai’
o 45% of the students had correct idea about
ploughing deeper is better than ploughing wider.
o 85% of the children knows‘Ezhuvai’ Vettrumai is ‘Muthal
Vertumai’
o 90% of the students understood that the gap
between two Rice crop plants is of Crab size.
o 95 % of the students have right attitude that the
gap between Sugarcane crops is the size of ploughing the field.

the Plantain crops will be of the size of the bullock cart.
