NUMBER RODS

ASCENDING ORDER
Asequence of numbers which are not decreasing but ascend gradually in its own wayis called increasing numbers.
Kids often experience complexity in learning Increasing numbers.
Now, we make it easy by using the Number Rods.
We always use Red colour cube in Odd number places and Blue colour cube in Even number paces.

ROD 01:

It is a red cube. It represents 1 unit.
Placing the Rod 01 in the Number Rod Board is given in Diagram 1.

ROD 02:
After placing Rod 1 on the Number Rods Board as in Diagram 1, place the Rod 2 in the next column of the Number Rods Board as in Diagram 2.
It is a cuboid, made up of two cubes of side 2.5 cms each placed one over the other.
In this rod red unit represents 1 and the blue unit represents 2.

So, while keeping this rod on the board the red unit should be placed on the bottom frame which acts as a stand.

It means that the Top of Number rod in column 2 is bigger than the Rod 1 in Column 1.

ROD 03:

After placing Rod 2 on the Number Rods Board as in Diagram 2, place the Rod 3 in the next column of the Number Rods Board as in Diagram 3.
It is a cuboid consisting of one blue unit fixed with two red units on top and bottom.
There is no problem in placing this rod on stand, because both the ends are made up of red units.
It means that the Top of Number rod in column 3 is bigger than the Rod 2 & Rod 1 in Column 2 & Column 1 respectively.
Now the order of numbers is 1, 2, 3.
This order is known as Ascending Order.
