NUMBER RODS
ASCENDING ORDER PART - II
ROD 06:
After placing Rod 5 on the Number Rods Board as in Diagram 5, place the Rod 6 in the next column of the Number Rods Board as in Diagram 6.
It consists of 6 units fastened one over the other. Units 1, 3 and 5 are red and units 2, 4 and 6 are blue. The red end of this rod is to be placed on the stand during operation.
Now the order of Number Rods on the Number Rod Board is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
The Numbers gradually increase from 1-6.
This order is known as Ascending Order.

ROD 07:
After placing Rod 6 on the Number Rods Board as in Diagram 6, place the Rod 7 in the next column of the Number Rods Board as in Diagram 7.
     It consists of 7 units fastened one over the other Units 1, 3, 5 and 7 are red and units 2, 4 and 6 are blue. . There is no problem in placing this rod on stand, because both the ends are made up of red units.
Now the order of Number Rods on the Number Rod Board is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7

CONCLUSION:
        Diagram 10 shows that
·        The numbers increase gradually from left to right.
·        The number increase by 1 unit in each step
·        Similar even numbers occupy similar place in each rod.
·        Similar odd numbers occupy similar place in each rod.
·        It is a replica of progressive steps in Staircase.
·        The ascending order could be kept in visual memory.
